Overnight Chia Oats

Get a boost of fiber with oats and chia seeds to help balance blood sugar and hormones. Top with fresh fall fruit like apples, pears, or figs. You can also make this the night before for a nourishing breakfast on the go.
Prep Time 5 minutes
Servings: 2 people
Course: Breakfast

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 cups unsweetened almond or hazelnut milk
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2-4 tsp raw honey (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup chopped apples, pears, or fresh figs

Method
 

  1. Mix the oats, chia seeds, milk, cinnamon, and honey together in a large mason jar. Let sit in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, serve cool or heat up to warm. Top with fruit before serving.
