My Practice

I realize there is an abundance of health and wellness information available at your fingertips today (online and in print) that is overwhelming, confusing and sometimes even conflicting. As a licensed naturopathic physician with an education in science-based and integrative medicine and 14 years of clinical experience, I want to help you determine what is best for your unique health needs. My goal is to get to the root of your health concern and address any imbalances with a holistic approach to medicine so that you can feel and look your best.

I understand that when it comes to your healthcare you have options, and I believe it’s important to make educated decisions.

Whether you are a Park City local or ready to take your health to the mountains, I look forward to helping you reboot, revitalize and achieve the health of your dreams.

Health concerns I commonly address
What to expect at your initial appointment
  1. The initial 60-minute consultation is comprehensive and includes a full assessment by me of health history and pertinent physical exams.
  2. I will recommend and order any necessary laboratory testing.
  3. At the end of the initial visit, I will discuss a customized treatment plan and long-term follow-up plan.
  4. I like to follow up every 3 to 6 weeks until symptoms are managed and you appear on a clear path to wellness.
  5. At that point, I will recommend follow ups every 6 to 12 months. Return visits last 15 to 30 minutes depending upon your needs.
How you can use your appointments:
  • 1. Follow Ups -  Let's make the most out of your program!  Follow up every 2 – 6 weeks so we can make adjustments in your wellness plan. Follow up visits can be in person or over-the-phone.
  • 2. Acute Care – For any cold, flu, cough or other short term symptom or illness that comes up, I can recommend natural medicines to speed recovery and ease symptoms.
  • 3. Pain Management – From headaches to muscle and joint aches, I can help you with supplements, diet changes and Cranio-Sacral Therapy.
  • 4. Hormone Balance – If we haven't done so already, I can check your hormones and prescribe supplements and/or bio-identical hormones
  • 5. Counseling – I graduated from my Masters in Psychology program last August, and I've got lots of tools to share with you to help you overcome challenges and reach your health goals. A lot of health issues can stem from unresolved emotional issues. In order to fix the health issue, it might be necessary to heal emotionally first.
  • 6. Cleanses – Spring and Summer are great times to do a 3 week MediClear cleanse or a 5 – 10 day Juice Fast.  I can lead you through what's right for you.
Does insurance cover visits?
Whether your insurance company will cover any or all of your visits with me largely depends on the type of coverage you have. You may want to contact your insurance company to find out what your policy covers. When you call your insurance company, please be sure to let them know I am a licensed primary care naturopathic physician. Many patients do get at least partial reimbursement for their visits and laboratory tests are often covered by insurance. While we do not bill insurance directly through the office, we are happy to provide you with a service summary that has all the codes and license information the insurance companies need. Once you send in the service summary to the insurance company, they will reimburse you directly for whatever your policy covers.
